I always love a local shoot but this one…. This one was special. Located in Davenport, Iowa (one of The Quad Cities). It was designed by GRO Architects of New York, with local Quad City representation from Studio 483, IMEG and built by Russell Construction.
I’m constantly trying to get clients to allow me to make architectural images images in freshly fallen snow and I honestly was just looking for a reason to post about it. I am thankful that these clients were willing to take the risk involved in shooting architecture in the middle of the Midwest winter.
I also want to mention that my next-door neighbor Brad and his team at the spectacular Riverbend Signworks did all the signage and graphics on this project and they really make it come alive. Just look at this YMCA! What a blessing to have facilities like this in the Quad Cities.
